Mayoral candidate and economist Neil Saravanamuttoo says he has been looking to other major cities for solutions to some of the city’s most persistent problems.
For the former executive at the Department of Finance Canada and former chief economist of the G20’s Global Infrastructure Hub, this is the first time running for public office. Saravanamuttoo said he decided to launch his campaign because he was disappointed in Ottawa’s current leadership.
